Legendary rap icon, Guru (1/2 of Gangstarr) has been hospitalized after going into cardiac arrest. The 44-year-old rap legend's sister says that he suffered a heart attack over the weekend and is now in a coma.
My prayers go out to Guru and his family. I'll keep you updated.
I was a little late catching on to a lot of the groundbreaking NY hip hop. I didn't get hip to Gangstarr until around 1999 when I heard Full Clip. All of my youngins that are still not familiar, check out the video below.
