Jay-Z Signs Willow Smith to RocNation

Yes, you read that right. Will and Jada's youngest just dropped her single, "Whip My Hair" yesterday and today Jay-Z announced that he has signed her to his RocNation label. Jay went on the Ryan Seacrest this morning and confirmed that he signed the 9 year old child star, and then later released this statement to the press:

"We at Roc Nation are excited to work with Willow. She has an energy and enthusiasm about her music that is truly infectious. It's rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age. Willow is about to embark on an incredible journey and we look forward to joining her as she grows in all aspects of her career."

Interview: B. Pumper Talks Montana Fishburne x Going At Juelz and Fabolous

I interviewed B. Pumper a few days ago, and he talked about how he met Montana Fishburne and the spots on her ass. Then he talked about his rap skills, meeting 50 Cent and wanting to sign him as a solo artist, and why he went at Juelz Santana. When I asked him about responding to Fabolous' tweets about him, he said "he can get it too". Full interview will be available Friday.

Exclusive Interview: Bun-B Talks Success of Trill OG, Houston Hip Hop and More

I'm sure it goes without saying the excitement and honor I felt to have the opportunity to interview legendary rapper Bun B. Houston's own took the time to talk to me about the recent success of his latest album, Trill OG and receiving 5 mics in the Source. He also discussed the current state of Houston's hip hop scene, when he plans to retire, and offers advice to up and coming artists.
